A free tool that estimates in real time every eBay fee and the net profit of each sale. It works on 8 marketplaces (eBay.com, eBay.it, eBay.co.uk, eBay.de, eBay.fr, eBay.es, eBay.com.au, eBay.ca), covers private and business sellers, supports eBay stores and also calculates VAT, promoted listing fees and international fees. It is the same calculator used inside Droopify to track live profit on eBay listings.

The calculator shows each single line: final value fee (FVF) by category, per-order fixed fee, regulatory operating fee, VAT on fees, and more. The result is the real net profit of the listing.

No. Each eBay marketplace (eBay.com, eBay.it, eBay.co.uk, eBay.de, eBay.fr, eBay.es, eBay.com.au, eBay.ca) has its own final value fee (FVF) schedule, its own per-order fixed fee and different tax rules (VAT, MwSt, TVA, IVA, GST). That's why the Droopify calculator automatically loads the correct structure based on the marketplace you select.
Pick the marketplace where you list the item, not the buyer's. If you list on eBay.com, choose eBay US even if the buyer is overseas: base fees follow the publishing site. If you also sell internationally, the calculator adds the international fee where applicable.
Yes. Enter your VAT rate and the calculator shows the tax applied to the gross margin. Standard rates are 20% VAT in the UK, 19% MwSt in Germany, 22% IVA in Italy, 21% IVA in Spain, 20% TVA in France, 10% GST in Australia. Private sellers can leave the field at 0.
All fee tables are updated for 2026 across the 8 supported eBay marketplaces. The calculator is the same one used by the Droopify platform to track net profit on live eBay listings, so it's verified daily on real data.
On average, the total cost of an eBay sale ranges between 12% and 17% of the final price, including: final value fee (category-dependent, usually 8–14%), per-order fixed fee ($/€ 0.30–0.40 depending on marketplace), regulatory operating fee (0.3–1.2%) and VAT on fees. Promoted listings and international sales add extra costs. The calculator above shows the exact amount for each line.
Yes. Select "Private" in the Seller type field and leave VAT at 0: the calculator will apply only eBay fees with no tax. Private sellers are typically exempt from VAT on occasional sales, while business sellers must enter the correct rate for their marketplace.
Yes, that's the main use case. Enter expected sale price, cost price, category and marketplace to find out in advance whether the sale will be profitable. Then use the same calculation as a break-even reference when tuning the final price.
No, the calculator is completely free and requires no signup. An account is only needed to use the Droopify platform.
