I noticed that a product is out of stock on Droopify but available on the supplier’s website. Why does this happen?
Generally, there can be two issues:
1. "Max Delivery Days" setting on eBay
In your eBay account settings, under Settings -> eBay & Amazon, there is an option called Max Delivery Days.
This option defines the maximum number of shipping days allowed for a product to be considered available.
If a product exceeds the set maximum days, Droopify will automatically mark it as unavailable.
Practical example:
- Product delivery time: 7 days.
- Maximum Delivery Days set: 5 days.
- Result: Droopify will show the product as out of stock.
2. Supplier redirecting to a similar product
Some suppliers, such as Amazon, may remove a product from their catalog and automatically redirect the page to a similar product.
In this case, Droopify can no longer retrieve the correct information for the original product and marks it as unavailable.
How to check:
Open the product page on the supplier’s website.
If you notice that the product ID in the URL is different from the original one, it means a redirect has occurred and Droopify can no longer manage that product.
Example:
Opening the page:
https://www.amazon.it/dp/B001122333/
you are automatically redirected to:
https://www.amazon.it/dp/B006655444/
