How to Edit the settings of an eBay Account connected to Droopify
To edit the settings of an eBay account connected to Droopify:
- Click the yellow button with the pencil icon on the right side of the eBay account.
- Select the supplier for which you want to change the settings (e.g. Amazon Italy). Changes apply to all products from that supplier and sold in the corresponding eBay region.
- From the panel you can create new settings with the blue “Create New Settings” button. It is not necessary to create them manually: when you import a draft from a new region (e.g. Germany), if settings are missing, they will be created automatically.
eBay Account Settings Panel
The panel includes the following sections:
- General
- Shipping
- Pricing and Profits
- Automated Messages
- Automatic Sponsorship
- Discounts and Promotions
- Automations
- Warehouse
- Unmonitored Products
Important:
Before closing the panel, always click the blue button at the bottom right “Save Changes” to apply your updates.
"General" Section
Basic settings related to the behavior of imported and published items:
- Import Only Unique Products: prevents uploading the same product from this store into other stores connected to Droopify. Example: if the item “Red Dog Bowl with White Dots” is already present in this account, its insertion into another eBay account will be blocked.
- Always Import Product Variants: when importing a product into drafts, automatically includes all available variants.
- Import Only GSPR-Compliant Products: useful for sales in the EU. According to GSPR (December 2024) items must indicate supplier and European representative. Some products (e.g. on Amazon) may not comply: with this option you decide whether to import or block them.
- Remove Brand from Title: automatically removes the brand from the title when creating a draft (if present).
- Smart Title Optimization: optimizes the title by removing unnecessary spaces/characters to respect eBay’s 80-character limit. If disabled, the title is simply truncated to 80 characters.
- Duplicate Product Images: duplicates images until filling all available slots on eBay, improving internal SEO/visibility.
- Use Template for Description: applies a template to the description during publishing; if disabled, uses the supplier’s plain text description.
- Use Product ID as SKU: sets the supplier’s product ID as SKU.
"Shipping" Section
Configurations related to shipping times and methods:
- Fulfillment Days: days required to purchase/process the item from the supplier. If you process on the same day (orders received before 6:00 PM), set 0; otherwise set a consistent value.
- Max Return Days: return period offered to the customer (recommended 30 days).
- Use Supplier Shipping Days: if enabled, estimated delivery times in listings reflect those provided by the supplier (recommended to reduce disputes about delays).
- Delivery Days: available only if the previous option is disabled; allows you to set a static delivery time shown in listings.
"Pricing and Profits" Section
Settings for monitoring, price calculation, and margins:
- Price Monitoring: enable/disable Droopify’s automatic price monitoring.
- Stock Monitoring: enable/disable Droopify’s automatic stock monitoring.
- Default Stock: quantity that each listing will show on eBay; after each sale, availability resets to this value.
- Profit Type: choose between percentage profit (e.g. +30% on supplier’s net cost) or fixed profit per unit (e.g. +5 €).
- Fixed Cents: enforces a uniform price ending (e.g. .99, .49, .50).
Price Ranges for Profit Rules
Use these ranges to apply different profit rules:
Purchase Price Range | Profit Rule (Percentage or Fixed Unit) |
---|---|
0 – 10 | Set your rule for products costing between 0 and 10 |
10 – 25 | Set your rule for products costing between 10 and 25 |
25 – 50 | Set your rule for products costing between 25 and 50 |
50 – 100 | Set your rule for products costing between 50 and 100 |
> 100 | Set your rule for products costing more than 100 |
- Minimum Import Price: blocks import of products costing less than the threshold set (e.g. < 5).
- Maximum Import Price: blocks import of products costing more than the threshold set (e.g. > 100).
- Automatically Save Purchase Invoices: during order monitoring, finds and attaches the supplier’s invoice to the Droopify order (useful for VAT sellers).
- Invoice Request Message: available only if the previous option is active; this is the message sent to suppliers when the invoice is not automatically provided.
Important:
Changing the price ranges will not update listings instantly; updates may take time, up to 1 hour.
Important:
All calculations performed by Droopify include all eBay fees, so all profits set are net of any eBay fees.
Profit = Selling Price - Purchase Price - eBay Fees - VAT % (If set)
"Automated Messages" Section
Configurations for automatic communications to customers based on order status:
- Send Delivery Photo if Available: if provided by the courier, sends the customer a photo as proof of delivery (useful in case of disputes).
- Send Delivery Location if Available: if provided by the courier, sends the exact package drop-off location.
- Pending: automatic message when the order has just been received.
- Ordered: automatic message when the product has been purchased from the supplier.
- Shipped: automatic message when shipped by the supplier.
- Delivered: automatic message upon successful delivery to the buyer’s address.
- Cancelled: automatic message when the order is cancelled.
- Feedback: message sent by clicking the purple “Request Feedback” button for “Delivered” orders with no feedback received.

"Automatic Sponsorship" Section
Settings for automatic sponsorship of listings:
- Automatic Listing Sponsorship: if enabled, after 5–10 minutes from publishing a listing, Droopify automatically sponsors it.
- Sponsorship Type: select the type of ad campaign to apply to listings. For more details, see Sponsored Listings.
- Apply this new value to all sponsored listings: if selected, updates all listings of this eBay account with the new sponsorship settings.
"Discounts and Promotions" Section
Configurations for offers and discount codes:
- Volume Discounts: discounts applied to customers who purchase multiple items together. Requires > 1 availability per product, otherwise the promotion will not be visible.
- Storewide Discount Code: displays on product pages and in eBay search results a redeemable code for all customers with your chosen percentage (minimum 5%) and maximum cap (e.g. 5 €). Based on analysis, it significantly increases conversions.
"Automations" Section
Operational automations for order fulfillment:
- Automatic Purchase with Automatic Order: after 5–10 minutes from a sale on eBay, the order is automatically processed via Automatic Order using an available Amazon account. The order is also linked to automatic monitoring, allowing Droopify to manage it end-to-end until delivery.
"Warehouse" Section
Configure the warehouse set on eBay, i.e., the shipping origin location for parcels.
"Untracked Products" Section
Start the synchronization between your eBay account and Droopify to import products that are present on eBay but not yet in Droopify.
You can also migrate products from AutoDS to Droopify from this section: you need the Droopify Chrome Extension installed and an active AutoDS subscription.
If the requirements are met, by following the proposed steps you can migrate all AutoDS products into Droopify:
- Amazon products are automatically linked to their respective listings.
- Prices, descriptions, titles, and specifications are overwritten with Droopify’s settings.
Important:
Having an active AutoDS subscription is a mandatory requirement to complete the migration. Verify its status before proceeding. Paused accounts cannot be migrated.
Conclusion
The Droopify settings panel for eBay offers full control over every aspect of the store: general rules, shipping, pricing and margins, messaging, sponsorships, promotions, automations, warehouse management, and product synchronization. By carefully configuring each section, you can optimize visibility, streamline operations, reduce errors and disputes, and maximize the profits of your eBay store.
